India has offered help to three Eurasian nations – Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Armenia – with strengthening their information technology and telecom infrastructure by sharing expertise and setting up centres of excellence in these nations.
“In Uzbekistan, we will be setting up a Centre of Information Technology, besides strengthening cooperation in the field of software development and production and also in information and communication technology (ICT). Similarly in Turkmenistan and Armenia, India is setting up exclusive IT centres for the government as well as prestigious universities..
